03.08.202607:00:00UTC+00Turkey’s Producer Price Inflation Moderates in July, Signals Easing Cost Pressures

Turkey’s Producer Price Index (PPI) growth slowed in July 2026, suggesting a moderation in upstream cost pressures for the economy. Month-over-month, PPI rose by 1.52% in July, down from a 1.80% increase recorded in June 2026, according to data updated on 3 August 2026.

The figures, measured on a month-over-month basis, show that while producer prices are still rising, the pace of increase has eased compared with the previous month. The June reading reflected the change from May to June, while the latest July figure captures the change from June to July. This deceleration may provide some relief for businesses facing input cost pressures and could, over time, influence consumer price dynamics if the trend persists.
